The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) says it's really important for us to tell you that we make money when you buy stuff through our links. So this is us telling you again, very explicitly and in bold, that some of the links on this website are affiliate links, and if you click on a link and buy the corresponding product or service, we may receive a commission.

We're sure the FTC has a lot of wonderful people who work there, but we would prefer not to meet them, so we are disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”

Here's the truth:  We try our best to endorse products and services we have personally used and vetted, or that at least come recommended by people whose opinions we trust. Not everyone runs their agency like we do, and if we limit endorsements to only those with which we have deep knowledge, we leave out a large and valuable segment of recommendations that people very well may find helpful.

Ultimately, we make a good faith effort to only promote products and services that we truly believe will benefit you. We want to make good money by doing so, but not at the expense of our credibility and reputation.
